![]() I can, for example, change the sample rate from 44100 Hz to 48000 Hz, and then back to 44100 Hz, and for approximately 5 minutes everything seems normal, before the crackling thing starts again. Within Live, the issue kind of resets when I change the sample rate. It does not happen with my native AMD audio card, which works perfectly fine. It also happens when I watch a video, for example, or listen to a song outside of Live. I use this audio interface specifically with Ableton Live 10, but the problem does not only arise within Live. This means that the problem belongs to this particular computer, I suppose. It's important to note that I tried the audio interface in another computer I have, also running a 64-bit Windows 10, with slightly less RAM and a worse processor, with an SSD instead of a hard drive, and the problem does not occur. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers provided by the manufacturer. I really don't remember making any major changes to the computer. The result is that, basically, I can hear sounds in my computer through the audio interface, but with some 1.5 s latency. After a while, the non-delayed sound disappears and the echo is all that remains. After a minute or two, the echo resembles more and more the reproduced sound, while the non-delayed sound distorts increasingly, becoming itself a crackle. ![]() ![]() At first, one can notice that not only the reproduced sound gets a little bit distorted, but a sort of echo emerges, which is, at first, a crackling sound. Here's the issue, a few months ago, I started experiencing this: after 5-10 minutes of apparently normal usage, the sound begins to crackle, getting worse as time passes. Since it features an usb port, I was wondering if I could just plug a bluetooth usb dongle, or something similar, to have bluetooth audio Stack Exchange Network Stack Exchange network consists of 180 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
